During our last few weeks of school, we count down the days till our summer break, and for the most part, we believe it's going to be fun with many fun memories, and that’s great, but most of the time we can find ourselves with too much free time. We all want to enjoy our summer vacation and make the most of it by going out or doing fun things with your closest friends.
Here are some ideas that you can do during your summer break(:
GO AND TRAVEL WHILE YOUR YOUNG!
Take advantage of not paying bills, owning a house, being married, or having children and go out and explore the city around you with your closest friends or even by yourself! Take a mini trip to a popular place you’ve never been too and try a popular dessert place there as well. You can't regret going out and exploring somewhere you’ve never been!
Go camping!
My favorite time of the year is when I get to go camping with my family and closest friends. There is always new fun memories each time we go. Try going somewhere where there is no signal or wifi so you can only focus on your trip. When I first tried this no wifi and service campground, I would search everywhere for some kind of signal, and it was a total fail. After that camping trip, I realized how much fun I had and ended up going back every year and went to other camping sites with no network services. Plus there are so many different outdoor activities you can do out in the woods! You'd be surprised how much fun you will have without constantly being on your phone! But of course, don’t forget to take pictures (:
DECLUTTER AND CLEAN YOUR ROOM!
This is something I do every school break I have. Its such a good feeling knowing both your room and closest is cleaned. Not many people like to clean so how about buying your favorite drink and blasting your favorite tunes to encourage you to declutter your room. As weird as it sounds, right after I finish cleaning my room, it feels lighter as in its more organized with less junk and any unnecessary belongings. Having a clean room is also a great way to start a new semester!
GO TO A FESTIVAL!
No matter what kind of festival it is, whether music, food, or a city festival you should go to it! Take some of your closest friends and explore what the festival has to offer their customers. I've been to some festivals, and there is so much you can do, like buy unique merchandise, play their festival games, go on rides, and eat yummy delicious food which is the best part and mainly why I go haha
BE CREATIVE
Use your creativity to create fun spontaneous activities, like making a water slide and using a foam noodle to slide with it, or making foam paint to use on the sidewalk instead of using chalk. You can also rent out a big swimming slide or a boxing ring jumper LOL Your inner child will come out, and you'll be having loads of fun! There are many fun ideas to do that you can find on Pinterest! In fact, I think Pinterest will give you several different kinds of creative ideas to do this summer! :D
